THE COURSE…
We're thrilled to have Andrea Gilpin, a guest teacher join us for the first for our workshops for British Flowers week. This highly anticipated day is divided into two captivating parts, promising a day filled with creativity and learning.

In the morning session, we will guide you through creating stunning compote bowl arrangements using beautiful British flowers and foliage. Together, we'll explore the elements of design, including colour, texture, form, space, and scale, ensuring your arrangements are visually captivating.

In the afternoon session, you'll have the incredible opportunity to learn from Andrea as she shares her professional expertise on capturing stunning photos of your masterpieces using your iPhone or Android phone. Andrea will guide you through essential aspects such as lighting, framing, composition, shooting from various angles, styling, and utilizing negative space. With the availability of props, backdrops, and natural light, along with Andrea's fantastic instruction, you'll capture the most amazing photos of your compote bowl arrangements.

ABOUT ANDREA…
Andrea is a floral and lifestyle photographer who specialises in working with artists, florists, gardeners and growers. Her images have featured in magazines such as Homes & Antiques, Period Living, BBC Wildlife, Stella and Vogue. She is in her element when immersed in flowers - both wild and grown.
